Team Kemscrima-Doh
Founded in 2010, Team Kemscrima-Doh serves as the
Official Demo Team of the Headquarters. Currently consisting of 14
dedicated members ranging from ages 5 to 23, Team KSD's performances
have continued to spread Kemscrima-Doh and Martial Arts awareness throughout the Central
Valley.
Some of
their most recent performances included UC Merced's Asian Fest, Fresno
City College's Asian Fest, Cap and Town 2010, Merced County
Fair, The Last Airbender Premiere presented by Forte Frozen
Yogurt, and the Extreme Martial Arts Challenge in Salinas, CA.
Team KSD's largest performance venue came on
September 2nd 2010, as they were a part of a Half-Time Show performance
for the Oakland Raiders at the Oakland Coliseum.
In
addition to demonstrations, the team has also competed at UC Berkeley
at the UC Yongmudo Championships, earning two Gold medals in team
competition against teams from UC Merced and UC Berkeley. Their first
Team competition was in Pleasanton, CA at the Northern California Open
(NCO) hosted by GM Max Pallen Jr. and Master Samar Shir of PallenM2.
Team
KSD aims to blend contemporary and traditional principles as well as
highlight the culture within the Martial Arts. Each customized
performance aims to incorporate the theme of the venue, appeal to the
audience, and improve from the previous demonstration. Feel free to
contact Team KSD if you have any questions or inquiries.

Starting from Christopher and Sifu Glenn Abrescy, many of the
member's families train in or are involved in Kemscrima-Doh. Teams:
Sano, Akers, Isozaki, McIntosh, and Kuizon, all feature parents,
grandparents, and siblings who train alongside them in the Martial
Arts. This has remained as one of the core values for Team Elite,
Eastwind Martial Arts, and KSD.
